Alloys short listed for Distributor award Print Friendly Version Print Friendly

Alloys, the non traditional distributor, has been shortlisted for the Specialist
Distributor of the Year award at the forthcoming ARN IT Industry Awards 2009.

This year, ARN reported that it received over 150 company and individual
nominations for the awards, so competition was tough. Alloys was chosen as one
of 5 finalists by Nadia Cameron (ARN editor), along with ARN president and
publisher, Susan Searle; online editor, Trevor Clarke; and Channel Dynamics
director, Moheb Moses.

Alloys made it to the final five as a result of outstanding initiatives including:

- A strong commitment to the printer channel.

- Comprehensive range of printing solutions, including large format,
graphics and specialised solutions.

- Keeping resellers at the forefront of the industry with regular targeted
education and training events.

- Business Centres in Melbourne and Sydney with fully functional
showrooms, where resellers can demonstrate solutions to customers
resulting in higher conversion to sales ratios.

- A strong focus on new and emerging markets. ie: Network Video and
Security products, Digital Entertainment, Home Automation.

Kane Ford, Marketing Manager at Alloys said "Alloys are very excited to be one
of the five finalists for this award nomination. This is a significant achievement for
us, and one that can be attributed to the passion and enthusiasm of the whole
Alloys team. We would like to thank all those resellers that voted for us"

All finalist submissions will now be sent to the final ARN panel of 60 judges to
decide on the winners, who will be announced at the ARN IT Industry awards in
Sydney on September 24 2009.
