Axis Communications, the market leader in network video, today announced it has won Frost & Sullivan's IP Video Surveillance Vendor of the Year Award.
The 2009 Frost & Sullivan Best Practice Awards recognise outstanding performance by companies in the Australian Information & Communications Technology (ICT) industry. Awards were given to companies that, based on Frost & Sullivan research, demonstrated market-leading revenue growth and business innovation in their respective markets, and are continuing to succeed in challenging times.
"Axis is dedicated to delivering more flexible, cost-effective security and remote monitoring through IP solutions," said Wai King Wong, Country Manager, Australia and New Zealand, Axis Communications. "We are thrilled to receive the IP Video Surveillance Vendor of the Year award from Frost & Sullivan, which recognises the progress Axis is making to drive the technology shift from analogue to digital video."
The award also confirms Axis's market leadership position for IP video surveillance, which Wong puts down to; "The strong commitment to our partner community. Developing valued partnerships is a key element of our business model and fundamental to our success. An example is the Axis Communications Academy that provides training in network video for our partners and is going from strength to strength."
