Alloys, the non-traditional distributor unveils new enhanced reseller website. Alloys today announced the launch of their new website www.alloys.com.au. Alloys created the new site in conjunction with extensive research on what their resellers find useful in an e-commerce site. Kane Ford, Alloys Marketing Manager said "Essentially, the new site has been designed by, and for our resellers. It includes the features our resellers have asked for, plus it delivers the functionality they need. The site is our 24 hour window to the business so it was important that it could help our customers as much as possible, with information, education, choices and campaigns. It now does this well, but also provides customer added features like, associated products, favourite shopping lists and simpler transactions." The new Alloys website has been designed to enhance user experience, with Web 2.0 features, improved search functions, and a new navigation structure. It also incorporates the Alloys divisions that previously had separate websites including Network Video & Security, Home Automation and the Alloys Reseller Finance arm, Alloys Assist. Featuring a vast amount of usable reseller information and tools, Alloys new website provides a far superior, quicker and more efficient experience for resellers. Paul Harman, Alloys CEO said "Traditionally, distribution websites are little more than online shops. Our new site breaks this mould by offering a comprehensive information resource centre. In addition, the consolidation of our different divisions into one site provides our resellers the opportunity to expand their markets and differentiate their product offering. The website is important for us, as we wanted the site to deliver in the same ways as our staff do, that is provide non-traditional services to our customers."
