Alloys inks Lexmark deal

June 1st, 2012 - Alloys, the non-traditional distributor, have been appointed as a Lexmark Supplies Distributor in Australia, thus creating new opportunities for customers of the Print and Imaging Specialist. The Lexmark Customer's For Life approach is well suited to Alloys who also have strong relationship focus. Both organisations are continually looking for news ways to create value for their customers.

Alloys' CEO, Paul Harman, understands that the new partnership will provide both parties with opportunities. "Lexmark and Alloys have partnered as Alloys are one of the very few distributors that specialize in the Print and Imaging market, if you want to drive growth in the market you need to be with the distributor that the reseller are turning to," he said.

Lexmark offer a comprehensive range of market leading consumables suitable for machines in the home and office space. Paul Harman added, "Alloys sell its consumables using a portfolio approach and the Lexmark range was a gap that resellers wanted to be able to access at Alloys.";

General Manager for Lexmark Australia and New Zealand, Carmel Mosser said, "There are several parallels between our two businesses, which makes this partnership very exciting for Lexmark. The primary factor is that we are both focused heavily on the level of service and convenience we can provide to our customers and partners- Lexmark through its 'Print Less, Save More' positioning and Alloys through its highly specialised knowledge and relationships with selected partners."
