How to integrate 2N IP Devices with MS Teams

The steps in this article require using the web interface of a 2N device. Please follow this manual in case this is your first time using the web interface.

This integration will allow you to make audio calls from our intercoms to linked MS Teams accounts and is handled by Microsoft SIP Gateway - for more details please see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/devices/sip-gateway-plan

Requirements:

For a single 2N device, it's recommended to use a Microsoft Teams Shared device license.

Step by step guide for direct MS Teams integration

Checking intercom and license requirements

1) Navigate to web interface of your intercom, section System - Features. Once there make sure that Microsoft Teams feature is in state Running. You can change this state by clicking on button Start/Stop in the action column. If you turn on this feature you have to restart your intercom in order for this change to take place.

If you cannot find Microsoft Teams in list of Beta features make sure to check whether your intercom is updated to firmware 2.46.1 or newer.
